My favorite book to read Alex is "Love you forever". It is a sweet story about a mom that rocks her son to sleep every night and says....I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be.
At the very end of the book the mom is sick and her son sneaks into her room and picks her up and rocks her and says the same thing except the very last line he changes to my mommy you'll be.
Alex and I napped together this afternoon, I'm a side sleeper so when he woke up my back was to him. I pretended to still be sleeping, and he was flopping in the bed. He puts his arm around me and says....
I'll love you forever
I'll live you for always
As long as I'm here
My mommy you'll be.
I could have melted, it was followed by a I love you mommy girl. It just doesn't get any better!
