Alex has slept with us most of his life. We had a pretty good run of him sleeping in his bed then Clint went out of town. I'm a bit of a chicken and didn't want him at the other end of the house so I let him sleep with me. Clint came home this time just before his surgery. The night we came home Alex slept with us, or on me rather..... The next night I told him he could either sleep in his bed or on the couch.... He choose the couch. He's a bit of a "Let's make a deal" boy and always tries to get his way, but I was firm. Yesterday on the way home he asked if he could sleep on the couch again instead of is bed, I said yes. He said the couch is a great place. I said do you like it better than mommy and daddy's bed?
And his reply in his deep southern accent....
"Well..... It don't matter...... you're not going to let me sleep in there, are you?"
