Thank You

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. I've been busy nursing the sick and trying to work and keep the house together.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, phone calls, visits and concern for Clint before, during, and after his surgery. His surgery appears to have been successful... The Dr did not go through the mastoid bone in the back of his ear because most people have pockets of air in that bone, however, Clint's is solid. To have gone through his bone would have been an additional 3 hours of drilling. He went through the ear canal and clean all the Cholestatoma out of all of the chambers. He removed some of the bone in the middle ear, he said Clint would never miss it. He did have to sacrifice a nerve that went to his tounge, the disease was wrapped all around it and the risk of leaving were greater than removing it. The chance of leaving some of the disease behind if he tried to clean it off the nerve was great... and we don't want a reoccurance. He was to come home that night, however, they could not get his pain under control so they admitted him and put him on a pump. Finally around 4:30 am it eased up enough for him to get a couple hours of sleep he came home last Thursday and it as been a very rough couple of days. Finally today he's been able to see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak and has felt ALOT better! Praise the LORD! He goes back for his followup visit on Monday and I'll update then. Again thank you for your prayers, they are being heard.
