Sick...Sick....Sick

Poor Alex... he's had a cough for a few days now and last night around 12:45 he woke me up with an ear ache. After 3 times getting up it finally eased up around 5am this morning and he was able to sleep a hour and a half or so. His Dr (Dr Steve) is in Hendersonville and since I work close by in Goodlettsville Alex and I went to my office this morning to wait for Dr. Steve's office to open. We had an appointment at 11:15 and sure enough, he has a sinus and ear infection. Poor thing feels rather crummy. We left my office around 2:30 and came home and went to bed and slept a couple hours, but we are up again and he is just sitting around. I hate when he is sick, I don't like him to hurt.... last night during one of his hurting moments he said, "Mommy, you are the greatest Mommy girl ever and I know you are doing everything you can to make my ear not hurt, I appreciate it." He is such a good, sweet boy!
