Busy Weekend...

Lots has been going on. We've been super busy the last few days.

Friday I took Alex to work with me for a couple hours and then we went for his 4 year check, he is perfect according to Dr Steve, but then we all already knew this! He was so excited to go and behaved so well all day long. He weighs 42lbs and is 43 3/4 inches tall. The first thing he said to when the Dr came in was "Hi Dr Steve, I haven't seen you for a long time". He told him all about why he didn't like to sleep in his bed and so on. No shots and we are good to go until next year.

After we left the Dr we had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then to Toys R Us to buy a "I was good at the Dr toy" He chose a batman sword, imagine that.

We went to dinner with David and Gretchen at the Depot and then went to the Swann's barn to see Uncle Brent, Mrs. Cindy, and Baby Ty as Alex calls them, but Ty isn't a baby anymore. They are going back on the list to adopt again so please pray things are quicker this time and less heartache.

Today Clint David and Daddy went on a fishing trip and I spent the morning cooking then went to town to see Petie. We went to Wal-Mart and met Petie and mom there, then we went to McDonalds for lunch. Afterwards we went to Peties then she wanted to go to Belk and Big Lots. I love spending time with Petie and she enjoys being able to get out and have the company as well.

Tomorrow we have worship and then Corbin is being baptised at 2pm, who knows what else tomorrow will bring. Monday night Petie is cooking for everyone and I can't wait. She makes the best chicken and dumplings!

On a positive note, Clint says his ear feels better than it has felt in a long time! Yippee! Still not out of the woods yet. Oh and the directions on the antibiotics said stay out of the sun.... remember the fishing trip..... he now looks like a lobster! He'll never learn!

Have a safe weekend!
